Nothing could have made me happier than to decide that I was going to dedicate as much time as possible to “A Mediocre Time” and with that, most everyone knows that I resigned from “The Quarry” at the beginning of this year. (Let’s just be honest…I was pulled off the air last November for God knows what reason…but technically I should have worked until December 31^st 2012. Just a little fun fact…it’s cool bro.) I won’t kid you either. It was scary too. Terrifying even.

With that said, there are very few things that I miss about that day job but one massively bright spot and something that I truly miss is working with Burt “Bubba” Wilson. Together, we wrote some killer songs and had ass-loads of fun! Even more than that, Burt has ALWAYS been supportive and encouraging when it comes to anything that I’ve ever decided that I wanted to do. I personally think that speaks volumes as to the character of this dude; a dude that has seen it all!

Selfishly, when Tom told me that he was stopping by the studio today for Show #227, I was mega-happy! Thanks for stopping by, my friend! You are always welcome and we can’t wait to do it again.
