We promise that we’re still working on the studio!

I know.

We don’t talk about it that much and I’d be lying if I said that I don’t get emails from people who think that we’re already in there…but nope – still attempting to put all of the pieces together.

So – here’s where we are now:

Our carpet is currently being printed and we think that we’re going to get it by the 18th. After that, we’ll have it professionally installed. (Believe it or not – Tom is NOT willing to go to Craig’s List for something as important as this! Shocking! And I’m not going to lie – I’m really happy about that. I’m not a Craig’s List guy.)

We had to change a few of the designs on the carpet to make sure that they’re going to look their best but here they are in all of their “test carpet” glory.

After that, I’ll make sure and throw some pictures at you of the cabinets and the fully, installed console desk. We could not be more excited about this – but it really is taking more time than we EVER anticipated.

As far as gear goes, we’ve been working really hard on a new relationship with Sony Electronics.

Yeah. Seriously.

We’ve got 6 brand, spanking, new pairs of these lil’ guys just glowing to sit in the new studio for all of the guests that will be passing through. Who knows where this relationship will go but we’re EXTREMELY excited to have them on board and can’t wait to see where things go with this legendary brand. (A little known Sony fact – my first and almost ONLY pair of radio headphones were bought for me by Ed Tyll. They were Sony MDR-7506’s and they lasted almost 20 years. So there’s that. Got a brand new pair a few weeks ago completely unrelated to this brand-relationship and they frigg’n rule. Same as always.)
